At AZ Service Technicians (AZST), we strive to provide transparent and fair pricing for all our services.
Estimate Guidelines: The estimate provided serves as a guideline for completing the job outlined. It reflects our best assessment but may not account for potential price fluctuations in materials or the need for additional labor and materials due to unforeseen challenges or adverse weather conditions during or after the repair process.
Remote Estimates: Be advised that remote or rough estimates are preliminary and may be subject to change. A final estimate will be provided after a technician conducts a thorough on-site examination of the appliance to determine the exact cause of the issue.
Diagnostics: The initial evaluation performed by our technician covers both the preliminary assessment and the appliance diagnostic. During this visit, the technician will gather essential information to identify the issue and provide a smooth and cost-effective solution. The diagnostic fee directly contributes to identifying a reliable resolution.
Diagnosis (Performed by Another Company or Customer): It is crucial to underscore that, without conducting a comprehensive diagnosis, our liability does not extend to unforeseen issues. If, during or after the installation, any additional issues are identified that fall outside the scope of this project, additional charges may apply. These charges will be communicated to the owner for approval prior to proceeding with any further work.
Repair Process: After completing the diagnosis, the technician will gather all necessary information to identify the issue and determine whether any part(s) are required for the repair. If part(s) are needed, we will locate them either locally or, if necessary, source them from out of town to ensure timely repairs. A comprehensive repair estimate will then be provided, with part costs based on the technician’s diagnostic findings.
Estimate Approval: Before proceeding with any repairs, a detailed estimate will be provided, ensuring you understand the scope and costs involved. At AZST, we are committed to offering transparent and fair pricing for all services.
Trip Charge: The trip charge is non-refundable. You have a 30-day window to accept the estimate provided. If you proceed with the repair, "the trip charge" credit will be applied toward the total repair cost upon agreement.
If the trip charge payment was collected at the time of service, it will be applied as a credit toward the total repair cost upon approval of the estimate. However, if the trip charge was not collected at the time of service, the full amount specified in the estimate will remain as the outstanding balance, with no portion of the trip charge credited toward the repair cost.
Payment Terms: For payments made by credit cards, a 3% processing fee will be applied. We also accept payments via cash, check, or Zelle at no additional cost.
Warranty: Our diagnostic and labor services are valid for 3 months, while part(s) are covered from 3-month to 1 year from the date of repair. If the same issue occurs with any previously replaced part(s), we will reevaluate your appliance at no additional charge.
No Part(s) involved: Please note that this warranty applies only to the evaluation and labor performed as outlined in the job description and does not cover any part(s), as none were installed during the repair. Our 3-month warranty covers the diagnostic service, allowing us to reassess the appliance at no additional cost should the same issue arise within this period.
Part(s) Supplied by Customer: AZST will not provide a warranty for part(s) not purchased through our authorized suppliers. The 3-month warranty is limited to the labor provided by AZST and covers only the services described in the job. Part(s) supplied by the customer are not covered under warranty for any issues, including but not limited to malfunction, misuse, abuse, damage, lack of maintenance, defects, or any type of failure, whether mechanical, electrical, or otherwise.
Part Order Cancellation Policy: Cancellations of part orders are subject to a $45.00 restocking fee. These charges cover the administrative and logistical costs associated with processing the order and returning the item to inventory.

AZST Callback: If a malfunction occurs within the specified period and the diagnosis reveals additional issues beyond the scope of this project, additional charges may apply. These charges will be discussed with the owner before proceeding. Please note that the modifications are not applicable to this project. If the follow-up repair does not meet expectations due to part(s) being no longer available (NLA), manufacturer failure, or the appliance being deemed unrepairable, applicable credit can be applied toward a maintenance plan, future service project, or a refund for the cost of the “part(s)” installed. This policy does not apply to waived labor, service fees, trip charges, customer-supplied part(s), improper use, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear.
As a reminder, our repair part(s) are covered under a one-year warranty from the date of service. For any recurring issues during this period, it’s important to contact us so we can assess the unit and work toward resolving the problem. As outlined in our policy, a reevaluation of the appliance is required to determine whether it is repairable or not. This step ensures that we accurately confirm the issue and, if necessary, proceed with other options specified in the terms. If the unit is determined to be unrepairable, we will need to initiate a warranty claim with our supplier for the installed part(s). As part of this process, we will be required to remove the component(s) from your appliance.

Part(s) Under the Manufacturer Warranty:
Manufacturer Replacement Part Warranty Terms: Replacement part warranties typically fall under the manufacturer’s warranty policy. Coverage varies depending on the brand and the product, with the following general terms;
Scope of Coverage: Covers defects in materials or workmanship.
Replacement part(s) are provided, but labor and other associated costs may not be included.
Warranty Duration: Specific terms for replacement part(s) may differ from the original product warranty, with durations commonly
ranging from 90 days to several years.
Exclusions: Damage from misuse, neglect, or external factors. Consumables like filters or seals.
Labor costs for installation or service.
Procedure for Claims:
Regular maintenance may be required to uphold warranty validity.
Proof of purchase and service records may be needed when filing a claim.
Transferability and Renewal: Warranties often apply only to the original purchaser unless explicitly transferable.

Please note, we are not liable for part failures under the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer may provide a specific warranty for the part itself—such as 90 days, 1 year, or longer—regardless of the expiration of the original product's warranty.
